How to use the site

What is the Las Vegas Jingle Bell Rock hunt?

The Las Vegas Jingle Bell Rock is a holiday treasure hunt run by 96.3 KKLZ. Listeners follow radio clues to look for a decorated rock. The station announces when it has been hidden and publishes the rules for finding it, returning it and claiming the prize.

LVJBR brings the current clue board, printable clues, community chat and past-year hiding spots together. It is an independent fan site. The station decides eligibility, the official clue schedule, the prize and who wins.

Where to find radio and bonus clues

Listen to 96.3 KKLZ for the official radio clues. The current clue board groups published reports by day and shows numbered clue slots with their broadcast times. Bonus clues have their own lines. Empty waiting slots are placeholders; they are not clues.

Bonus-clue pickup locations and times can change between hunts. The homepage lists the participating Meineke locations we have recorded. Confirm this year's arrangements with the station before traveling. The printable list uses the published clues available when you open it, so print a fresh copy before your next outing.

What if a radio clue is missing?

Use the submission page to report the wording you heard and its broadcast time, or mark it as a bonus clue. Reports appear after review or listener confirmation. Keep the clue wording separate from your interpretation so other hunters can compare the original report with their own notes.

Using the map and past winners

The archive brings together past Jingle Bell Rock clues, winner information, photos where available and recorded found locations. Select a year to study that hunt. Some historical pins mark approximate areas rather than an exact spot; read the location notes before using them.

A previous hiding spot does not predict this year's location. Compare several clues, record your reasoning and use the map to organize possible areas. Community theories are suggestions. Neither a clue nor a map label grants permission to enter land.

Prize amounts, dates and official rules

The prize and countdown on the current hunt page show the information listed for that season. Check the station for changes and final rules. Do not apply an old hunt's dates, eligibility requirements or pickup arrangements to a new year.

For historical context, the 2025 official rules offered $10,000 plus a diamond ring, with a combined approximate retail value of $12,500. Those are last year's terms, not a confirmation of this year's complete prize.

Hunt responsibly

Respect private and tribal property, closures and posted restrictions. Do not dig, damage plants or move property. Take water and check weather and access before heading into the desert. Public ownership alone does not mean a place is open to searching. Follow the station's current rules and the rules of the location.
